Uncorrected machine reading. This text was read by machine (Apple Vision OCR) from a scan of a newspaper page, and the page was cut into articles by machine, at the headlines found by their type size. Nothing has been corrected: expect misread words, text from a neighbouring article, and titles that are the machine reading of the headline, some of them only fragments. I RECENTLY attended the performance of Monstrous ment's show Time Gentlemen Please. Although the group describe it as against 'sexploitation and discrimination, a section of the audience disrupted the show, claiming that it was sexist.

What concerns me most about the incident is not the criticism itself -that could have been argued out when the performance was over but the fact that an avowedly radical theatre was being disrupted members of the left.

Unfortunately this is not an isolated example and it raises the question not only of our own internal democracy and right to be heard, but Monstrous Regiment wil be willing in future to try and produce new and adventurous work and instead tall back on the comfortable clichés of agit-prop.
